Transcript - Community Service Involvement
Michael McStraw: I first met Ken when he became a contestant for Dancing with the Giordano Stars, one of our biggest fund raisers.
Nan Giordano: First impression of Ken… absolutely a “do what you say you’re going to do” type of person.
Deane Brown: He really cares about making the world a better place.
Nan: One of his greatest assets is his style in which he deals with people. Firstly, he’s always smiling, and he always has a very nice presence. And he has a really beautiful way with people.
Michael: In the actual board meeting, he provides a kind of a catalyst for moving ahead, the decision making, making sure everyone is on board. He’s very inclusive and very organic about the way he works.
John Galarnyk: He gets the importance of the other things in his life: his family, his relationships with his friends, his participation in good things in the community. Those things make a good lawyer. It’s rare that you’ll find a really good lawyer who doesn’t have those things. It’s a time-consuming and a demanding job to do it and be able to balance and be able to figure out what is important, and that’s Ken. Ken gets that.
Nan: He’s very kind, and he’s just someone that you can really count on. Always.
