Fall 1992
1988 Chicago-Kent graduate Kenneth B. Moll was just named partner in his law firm, which last week was renamed McDowell, Moll, Fitzgibbons & Drew.
In his first year of practice, Moll won $4.5 million in a DPT (Diphtheria Pertussis Tetanus) suit - the nation's highest award involving the childhood tetanus vaccine. Moll next agreed to handle the case of a Florida woman who believed her silicone-gel breast implants were making her ill. The case won him more additional breast implant suits, a full two years before the FDA halted production of the breast implants a few weeks ago.
Moll started with his law firm in 1988 by answering a job ad posted at Chicago-Kent for a temporary clerking position.
